Responsibilities:

Tax research, planning, and reporting on a wide variety of real estate industry tax issues.
Accounting and tax reporting for 1031 exchanges, partnership reorgs, private equity funds, target allocations, qualified opportunity zone investment, cost segregation, and real estate asset purchases and dispositions.
Assist in management of filing requirements, reporting requirements, and tax payments for more than 300 entities across 16 states

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Accounting/Tax plus at least 3 years of experience in public accounting or Industry (licensed CPA is a plus) OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Tax plus at least 4 years of experience directly related to the above set of tax duties.
Strong written and oral communication skills
CPA license preferred
